Vision of Jurassic Park

If the weekend does anything, it proves I'm a human being and not a machine. I had to choose between blogging yesterday or getting a couple hours of sleep and after seeing how it played out, I think I chose wisely lol. So I'm going to post 2 t-shirts today. The one I wore yesterday and the one I'm wearing now.

I'm not a huge fan of the Jurassic Park franchise. I really only liked 2 of the movies and that was the first 2 and to keep it all the way real, I only thought 1 of them was great. The first one was dope. The idea that dinosaurs could be alive because of the blood inside of prehistoric mosquitos is laughable now that i said out loud hahaha! But good in the way of science fiction. So when Jurassic Park came to home video, my Uncle had a Jurassic Park party for me and my brothers. This is one of the reasons my Uncle was like Nerd Jesus to me growing up. He got the movie, mad dinosaur party favors (like dinosaur fruit snacks and the whole sha-bang), pizza, let us invite like 3 of our friends... it was awesome. Jurassic Park the franchise though, not so much. You may or may not listen to our movie podcast (The CINEMANIACS!!! podcast) but I thought the last movie they put out was gawd awful. Epic bad. Truthfully, looking back over all of the movies, the 1st one was great and "The Lost World" was really good, part 3 was terrible, Jurassic World was serviceable and the aforementioned Jurassic World 2 was trash...not even regular trash, it was like salty medical garbage. That's a 1 dope movie every 25 year average. No bueno. How could you have the Star Lord (Chris Pratt) play in such rubbish the same year Infinity War came out? This franchise will always be a reminder of how good ideas can go horribly wrong when the motivation behind it isn't what it should be.

Literally every time I see the Jurassic Park logo I feel bad because although it invokes good memories from my childhood, I'm like ughhh... Sure it had to have done decent at the box office because there are 5 movies but man, it's just an expensive turd to me lol. I'm sorry. See, this is what happens when I just type my first thoughts haha. I'm about to switch up my eating habits. That was random but, I'm just hungry and it reminded me I'm starting something new tomorrow. I hate being fat more than I love good food so yeah... LOL!!! Anyway, what I was getting at before is that Jurassic Park was supposed to be this big, important series of films but it felt like they were way more concerned with the money than the movie. Matter of fact, it seemed like toward the end of this last one, they were running out of money and ideas and had to figure out a way to end it on the fly.

I never want anything I do creatively to turn into something I'm doing for money. I don't even know if I'll ever even make it to that point to do something on that level but I would rather not do whatever it is than just throw something together and slap the popular name on top to sell it. That's the biggest problem with the DCEU too but that's a subject for another day and another t-shirt lol. Speaking of other t-shirts, the on I'm wearing today is an original. I'd made some of my own using comic book and cartoon heroes while using a play on Words of scriptures to represent something relevant about them and it. I'm nice with the word play hahaha... I'm not even joking though son, I'm dope. I actually have some crazy designs I haven't done yet but i will. Idk where I'm gonna put them but I'll be able to wear em finally. Back to this particular tee though. It was based on Acts 2:17. Not sure how familiar you are with the bible... shoot, you might not know how familiar I am with the bible if you catch me on the right day lolol!! I'm sorry, I just could NOT resist saying that (yall gotta lighten up ma. It's ok to laugh at my pain). So based on this paragraph, you can tell I have a lot of self confidence and also none at all. MAN I wish i could throw some emojis in here SMH lol. I keep getting side tracked. Sorry. But the shirt is based on Acts 2:17 in which it eventually says, "Young men shall see Visions..." Now that's not the entire verse but I have a pretty vivid imagination so I look at every word and get a good picture in my head of what's being said. Also because I grew up in church, the way I used to look at the things that were said based on my level of understanding at the time was hilarious and I still do it today in my head to make myself laugh and that's how I came up with a lot my ideas. So because of that part of the scripture, the Word "Vision" jumped out at me and I thought of the hero Vision from the Avengers. So he's on there along with the words and... just check it out lol.

I'm also not typing out Acts 2:17 so you'll have to read it on your own time. It's worth it tho and if that piques your interest and you crack open the good book even just out of curiosity, hopefully that'll get me some cool points with the man upstairs lol. I was thinking maybe I'll rock those on Sundays because... why not? Also if you see one that you want and would like to purchase one, you can shoot me an email. Gotta pay though, my efforts cannot be paid back in "god bless yous" and Trident gum.

I may just wind up posting my Saturday and Sunday tees on the same day every weekend. Yeah, that may be the move. That little sleep I usually get on some Saturdays is needed. Badly needed. So it's not me slacking. Eventually when I (hopefully) get to the point in what I want to do that I can stop working like a Hebrew slave (or any slave for that matter) on non creative things for a paycheck, I'll be able to switch it up. Until then, It's ya boy AJB, (Always wanted to say this LOLOL) hoping you all had a great weekend that'll set you up for an even better week.

I have proof read nothing and I don't feel bad AT ALL hahahahaha!!!!!
