Scooby Don't: A Rogue Trooper

Writer's picture: AJ in real lifeAJ in real life

Scooby Doo was legit one of my favorite cartoons growing up. It was like the next best thing to a murder mystery. The scary element, the detective aspect, the fact that they were all teenage kids. I'd still be down for a Scooby Doo marathon if I could catch one on TV (wink wink to anyone who has the pull to make that happen lol). But I was doing some overthinking, you know, the usual lol and I started listing all the real life concerns and why that stuff could never happen in real life and how funny it would be if someone tried. First of all, Scooby's diet was horrible. I mean Shaggy should've been ashamed of himself. Sure lots of homeless guys have dogs but he was feeding him lots of bread, cheeses and chocolate and stuff. How old did Scooby grow to be? They way they fed him, he should've been dead after the first season lol. Sidebar: Yes, I'm continuing on like this. Just warning you now before you read the whole thing. You're welcome lol. Back to the madness. Why would you bring a scaredy cat dog along everywhere? Scooby NEVER served his purpose. He ain't protect nobody! Not a single soul. Scrappy was tougher than Scooby was smh. Like, how could you let a little kid out brave you?? I hate spiders fam, I HATE spiders, but I'll be gosh darned if I act scared of a spider in front of my kids or my nephew's and nieces. Not happening. Then when they got into some type of haunted house, Fred always suggested that they split up but he took the girls with him lol. Shaggy and Scooby were horrible partners because they were both afraid of everything. That Fred was slick too, always dipping off with Daphne and Velma. Sometimes he just took Daphne and Velma only went with them when... yeah, you get it lol. That's crazy. Why did every villain have similar ideas as to how they were gonna pull off a scam? Everybody just wanted to be some type of ghost and scare people away. Ain't never saw a real criminal on there with a gun or a knife or something that would make sense. Pretending to be a monster? Really?? ...also, where did they get those realistic costumes from because I want a few lol!! C'mon man, no way someone doesn't get seriously hurt if you're catching criminals. Not about to let children shut down my plans and send me to jail...that sounded like something an evil teacher would say lol. Scooby still that show though haha! I don't know if I liked the original or a Pup Named Scooby Doo better but that's probably a debate to have for another day. Happy Hump day by the way. It doesn't feel like a Wednesday to me probably because I've somehow managed a full week's worth of work already lol. Busy busy week. Taco less Tuesday, no camel Wednesday, you know how it is. I want a chance to binge some music. I don't get to do that as often as I want. I buy all this music and don't have time to give it the listen it deserves.

Random but I'm really excited about Star Wars in December. My Uncle was already making plans last month as for what we're gonna do. I'd hope all my guys would do cosplay but I'm the bravest in the crew so it may be me dolo but I'm holding out hope. I've got no shame when it comes to that stuff. I like what I like. Plus when you go on opening night, it's a pretty regular thing. When the force awakens came out I rocked my stormtrooper cos and when I got there I saw this guy dressed as Chewbacca being interviewed by the local news. That guy's costume was dope. There were quite a few that were good. I was just glad to be in the number. This year I think I need to for the culture lol. I just don't wanna spend an arm and a leg. Already saving for this ridiculously expensive Batman cos. One day I'll finally score tickets to San Diego Comic Con and wear it there. It's gonna be great lol. In the meantime, I'm still reppin for movies and other cons I can actually get tickets to before it's sold out. My Uncle and I have made a yearly tradition to go to one not far from us so that's happening next week. But also there's Boston, Rhode Island and New York to name a few and I need to get to each...never know, maybe one day I'll be a part of one or more for one of my original series (praying hands). My Mom told me one day I'll look back on these and say "Wow, I never was ordinary, I was always special." I know I'm special to her but I do hope she's right.
