Even in your Dark Knights

Writer's picture: AJ in real lifeAJ in real life

It's been a long time, I shouldn't have left you... without a dope blog to read through lol. That was trash but sometimes you can delight in the corny things. I'm a Dad jokes kind of guy so... yeah. It's been a really really long weekend. I felt bad that I wasn't able to blog like I wanted but I really had to put in a little more work than usual. Bill collectors don't care about excuses man. That's just the way it works. I'm not gonna do a 3 in 1 though. I will post the t-shirts I rocked over the weekend but I don't want to mash them up into this one post. We'll see what happens as I keep writing.

Monday

I was in a not so great space on Friday. Lots of things happening at that point in the week topped off with sleep deprivation. Usually I wouldn't hold back on what I post here but I'm about the positive energy and even when I do just post like that I can find a positive somewhere in it. Friday I was not able to do that and I won't just put that type of energy out there and leave it. That's not me.

Sunday

My original this week is equally my favorite along with the The Flash one from last week. Batman is my favorite comic book hero of all time. I love all things comics but there is no hero I love more than Batman. I live by a lot of the principles that Batman uses in real life. His utility belt = Always be prepared. His supreme detective skills = question everything. His wealth = ...well I've got a wealth of knowledge hahahaha!!! When I was 8, I was riding in a car with one of my Mom's friends. I had the blue and gray Batman action figure and I was flying it out the window as we drove. She told me not to but of course I didn't listen. The cape looked so dope with the wind hitting it. I couldn't resist. Then we hit a bump and I dropped it and had to watch the other cars run over and destroy it. She told me that she was gonna get me another one which I believed because we were like 50 feel from a Toys R Us. But she lied lol. Maybe she meant to but I never got it. Fast Forward to 2019. I found and bought that same Batman action figure and it rests in the center console of my car always. This one won't be getting broken. As for the tee, it's another play on words of scripture and represented by Batman himself. Psalm 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. Psalms 139:12 KJV.  Basically Good sees us whether it's light or dark out so I want my light to shine even when everything I do isn't perfect or even when that inner darkness tries to overtake me, I want that light to be able to shine brighter to only help me to not be consumed but so that others will always be able to see the Christ inside. There's some more but that's a quick synopsis.

Saturday

Once again I'm starting the week off with some Star Wars. This time pixelated since so many of the kids now are into Legos and Mine Craft.

Friday I had an ode to another of my super powers: Sarcasm. It's only becoming better with age much to the chagrin of real friends and family LOL. Trying to reach Deadpool level so there's still work to do there.

Friday

And of course I've been really Marvel Comics heavy lately. That continued over the weekend with this classic here. I've been watching Captain America the first Avenger with even more of an appreciation for Marvel is doing right now with movies and TV.

Pray for me this week yall. I have some good tees and stories this week. I don't know what they are yet but I can feel it lol. Have a great week!!
