Another day another seemingly endless amount of errands lol. I've been in kind of an NWO type of mood today. I even started mouthing (pause) their theme music while I walking down the aisles of Walmart. Something else I wanted to do at that Walmart that I didn't have time for was to visit the toy section. Right over to where the light sabers are so I can find a random stranger to battle against. You'd be surprised how many people will actually take part in a light saber battle once you toss them the sword lol. Anyhow, that NWO theme music will have you walking in slow motion and commenting to invisible haters hahaha! I'm not sure why but it was just a lot of Darth Vader vibes or that Scott Hall "Say hello to the bad guys" mood. It was only right that I rocked my Star Wars villains tee with the periodic table to separate them by level of importance. What can I say? I was a fan of the Sith.
Quick question: Why did we drink milk with everything in school when we were kids? When I was younger I used to drink whole milk like it was going outta style. I don't even remember whether or not it was refreshing, I just was always drinking milk. Everything they give you in school don't even go with milk. Milk with spaghetti, milk with chicken, milk with kielbasa? Yuck lol. It makes me shutter just thinking about it now. They never offered water. Like never. Plus the fountain water was usually room temperature so that was trash. Then if you didn't have lunch money, they gave you a peanut butter sandwich made on a hamburger bun with a white milk. Now like I said, chocolate milk don't go with everything but the school white milk ABSOLUTELY went with nothing. First of all, it tasted like the cardboard cartoon it comes in and even when it was whole milk, it tasted watered down. How do you punish a kid for not having lunch money like they didn't have more than enough food? I used to work at an elementary school and there were times that they would rather throw the food away than give it to people for free. That really happened. I didn't have cash one time and the main lunch lady would not just give me the food they were about to throw away. Crazy right? So the kids that didn't have lunch money and had to eat the peanut butter on hamburger bun bread just had to sit and look pitiful at everybody else eating the less trashy lunch. They still do that today by the way. It's just sun butter and not peanut butter. Terrible. This was the most random side bar ever I know.
Loving Star Wars can be really time consuming because there are so many avenues and rabbit holes to go down. Lots of unanswered questions left for fans to try and interpret on their own. It's dope reading fan theories and finding out how accurate they are but there are hundreds of angles and then there's the books and side info concentrated on some the details of the franchise. It's easy to get sucked in. Then the movies come out and you have to watch and re-watch because there's no way to catch everything the first time. So it's tough for me to even look at shirts like this one without referencing some of my books or going to Google. Some of it I already know by heart, I just like reading it lol. You can imagine how that can become problematic when I have somewhere to be but I can't put the shirt on yet because I'm using it to make sure I'm remembering characters correctly smh so yeah it's dope but can put a damper on productivity lol.
Hope it's been at least a halfway decent Friday Jr for everyone. The Lion King is actually in theaters tonight. I'm not necessarily motivated to see it this weekend though. It is something I want to check out and I think it's gonna great but I'm not doing Avengers level due diligence to make sure I'm in a theater this weekend. I'll have to see it because it's something we'll cover for the podcast, but I'm just not on the hype train. Again, I'm sure they did a great job, I'm just mildly interested. It y'all see it though and it's just amazing, let me know and maybe I'll get excited enough to see it sooner.
